| The example is an invalid one, because N-pentomino's center of gravity was not supported below. 2x2 squares might be overlapping each other (A 2x4 space includes three 2x2 squares) The top line may have only a space-holder, without any pentominoes. If a pentomino is supported when it's just fallen, its position becomes fixed and future pentominoes fall and are supported accordingly. Space-holders don't affect the counting of empty 2x2 squares. |
